INSPIRATIONAL LOGO FOR ROSSI AND LORENZO

The logos, to be seen on both of the factory outfit machines, will serve as tributes to Yamaha legend Jean Claude Olivier who lost his life in a road traffic accident earlier this year. Known as ‘JCO’, Olivier worked for Yamaha for 45 years until his retirement in 2010. He competed in the Dakar Rally for the company between 1979 and 1989, finishing second in 1985. He also guided motorcycle racing for Yamaha Motor France when holding the role of President. Also in remembrance of Olivier, a display of images will be erected in the Yamaha team hospitality area this weekend.
On-track, both Lorenzo and Rossi are hoping for more positive weekends after struggling amid the high temperatures of Jerez two weeks previous.
“I am looking forward to racing there,” Lorenzo begins of Le Mans. “I arrive with a lot of motivation after the Jerez results. Perhaps we expected better there but we struggled much more than we expected because of the extreme heat on the track. Fortunately we worked a lot on the test day afterwards to solve little problems. That session helped us to understand what the main problems had been on the Sunday.
“I've always had very good results at Le Mans and it brings me good memories. Last year, in fact, I got a victory in the wet by a great distance over the rest. I rode a perfect race, without making a single mistake and in terrible track conditions. I have won many times in France and think it's a good track for both me and the Yamaha M1.”
In 2012, Rossi may have finished almost ten seconds behind Lorenzo, but notched up his equal best finish of the year while competing for Ducati Team.
“Le Mans is a good track for me, not least because in the last two years I was able to reach the podium in both dry and wet conditions,” says the seven-time premier class world champion. “We hope to do the same and better with Yamaha because this is a good track for the M1.
“In Le Mans the weather will be very important because usually the weather is quite bad; it can be cold and wet, so we will see. We will have to work well, like always, and try to understand the weather and the track conditions. We will try to do the maximum, as always.”
Heading to Round 4, Lorenzo leads the Yamaha attack from third place in the championship which is headed up by Repsol Honda Team’s Marc Marquez and Dani Pedrosa. Rossi sits fourth and is now hoping to become the fourth different winner from as many races this season – something that has not happened since 2008.

ALL ABOUT IPHONE 5

 iphone 5 image
iphone 5 image

A few days ago, Apple finally got round to sending journalists an invite to the launch of its new handset, with the iPhone 5 launch officially pegged for September 12 at 10am PT, 1pm ET, 1900 CEST or 1800 (6pm) BST.
The iPhone 5 offers a larger screen, 4G connectivity and a slightly tweaked design. The new iPhone - the world's thinnest smartphone (or is it?) at 7.6mm (0.3 inches) - is made entirely of glass and aluminium, something Apple says is "unlike anything we, or anyone in the industry, has made before."
he new iPhone 5 is Apple's slimmest smartphone yet and also packs 4G LTE connectivity, a 4-inch cinematic screen and a new iSight camera

The Apple iPhone 5 has finally been confirmed and T3 was there to get a first look at the Cupertino brand's new slimline smartphone.

As well as being Apple's skinniest phone yet, the new iPhone 5 also sports 4G LTE connectivity, and a slightly longer screen with a 1136 x 640-pixel resolution, while the new A6 chip is twice as fast as previous versions.

The new phone also features a new, smaller connector, improved battery life and a new iSight camera.

Build

In the hand, the 112g iPhone 5 unquestionably feels lighter and thinner. The 7.6mm depth is impressive, considering that this smartphone is much more powerful than the iPhone 4S.

However, while the aluminium/glass construction is gorgeous to look at, the reduction in weight also makes it feel less industrial and less sturdy.

We'd take a lighter phone adorning our pocket any day, though. A nano-SIM on the side replaces the old-style mini-SIM, which forms part of the reduction in size, while the new Lightening connector replaces the 30-pin model, again, helping to shave off precious millimetres. A final note on size - it's 9mm taller than the iPhone 4S but the same width.

The headphone socket is now on the bottom – we'll have to see how this works in the wild.

The two-tone back on both black and white models give it a premium feeland Apple tells us the back is crafted from the same anodised 6000 series aluminium material used in Apple MacBooks.

Features

Standout features that we've had a play with lie within the make-up of iOS 6. Maps has been rebuilt from the ground up and now looks sharper, quicker and has some flashy features such as the cool 3D Flyover that allows you to zoom right into satellite imagery and rotate around landmarks as if you're playing God.

It also includes turn-by-turn navigation that will have the likes of TomTom and Garmin reaching for the booze cabinet.

Siri has also had an upgrade, now boasting the ability to launch apps and post Facebook entries by voice. Both were 50/50 successful in our limited hands-on time, so watch this space for an extended review.

One of the biggest feature upgrades is with the camera. It's now branded iSight and, while offering the same 8mp lens, now has improved HDR and PhotoStream sharing.

Video recording remains at 1080p, while the front-cam is markedly better – 720p FaceTime being the standout feature. The headline newbie, however, is the panoramic mode that will stitch together a landscape shot in real-time and create an image up to 28mp in size.

We tried this out in a packed press conference and while the results were unsurprisingly dull, due to the dim lighting, the technology itself was impressive – telling us to slow down if we panned too fast and then outputting the jumbo image in a few seconds.

Apple has thankfully upgraded its old earphones to the new EarPods, which are a huge step up in design and do sound better. But then most things did...

Screen

The most significant hardware change in our book is the screen. The Retina display is now upped to four inches and brags a 1136x640-pixel resolution at 326 ppi.

Real-estate is noticeably bigger, with a extra line of apps added to each screen and movies now playing in 16:9 without letter-boxing. It also means that there's simply more to look at when browsing websites, playing games and using apps.

Apple says apps built for the old screen will work just fine but it will allow developers to create new apps specifically for this screen. It didn't seem brighter in our short hands-on, but we were smitten with how much more information is now available to look at.

Performance

The new A6 chip has affected how fast the iPhone operates. We were pinging around apps more fluidly than our iPhone 4S and video also looked smoother.

Throughout our demo we were connected to wi-fi - which now supports all standards under the sun – but we're really looking forward to seeing how it flies on EE's new LTE 4G network when it (hopefully) launches this year. HSPA, HSPA+ and DC-HSDPA are also supported and it will come in 16, 32 and 64GB models.

Battery

Apple has quoted 8 hours 3G browsing time, 8 hours talk time, 10 hours video playback, which all sounds pretty reasonable but We'll have to put that to the test when we get a proper review sample in at T3 Towers.

Verdict

While there will be cries that the iPhone 5 is 'just a longer iPhone', it remains a significant hardware change for the phone that hasn't really had a good going over for a couple of years. Apple has worked wonders to reduce the overall size and weight while upping the power.

It comes with a raft of cool new features (mostly via iOS6), but fans of Samsung and HTC smartphones will cry that many of the features are already available on their devices. Regardless, it's a significant update for an already super smartphone.

SPECIAL BANGUS SISIG

Not all of us here eat pork. It might be because of choice or religious belief – we totally respect that. But for us who indulge in pork, most will probably say that Sisig has been one of the greatest creations. Who can resist the inviting scent of this dish once you smell the aroma oozing from the hot plate? And Wait till you add some hot sauce and seasoning – magnificent isn’t it? Although Pork Sisig might sound so perfect, we should still control our consumption because it can have negative effect on our health sooner or later. It was because of these not so good effects that other meat alternatives were tested to assemble this dish; one of them is bangus or milk fish – thus we have Bangus Sisig.
So what exactly is bangus sisig? What you see is what you get: a delicious concoction of fried (almost toasted) milkfish, onion, ginger, chili, scallions, and seasonings cooked in perfection. The good thing with this dish is the fact that it is lower in fat and cholesterol compared to the pork counterpart (unless you add more chicharon), and it is also lower in calories. As for the taste, it is heavenly.
Are you ready to make your Bangus Sisig? This recipe is easier than you think. Before following all the steps listed below, you will need to prepare the milk fish first; this can easily be done by following our Fried Bangus Recipe. Once the fish is marinated and fried then you can start making this dish right away.
I tried having this with rice. In my opinion, it is best eaten with sinangag or garlic rice. Of course, this is also good to eat as it is – especially for pulutan. Aside from pork and fish, have you tried other sisig varieties? What are they and what do you think about them?
Try this Bangus Sisig Recipe and let me know what you think.

A Cheap Mosquito Trap

The idea is apparently from a school class in Taiwan. They invented the trap through trial and error. Many commensurable have noted that this DIY mosquito trap doesn't work in all areas (or on all species of Mosquitos).

DIY is so easy and its costs are unbelievably negligible. Eradicate Aedes and dengue.

FIGHTING DENGUE MUST START AT EVERY HOME. Mosquito trap (Prevention of Dengue & other mosquito borne diseases)

It’s just a mix of water, brown sugar and yeast.

mosquitoes.

4.Cover the bottle with a dark wrap and insert in the top portion upside down like a funnel. Place it in a corner in your house.

A way for a healthy living.

DOES ALIENS EXIST?

Are we alone in the universe? Is the earth on the brink of a cosmic catastrophe? Do aliens really exist? And if they do, how do they get here? Long before man landed on the moon, people have been asking these and other questions that are out of this world.

ALIEN IMAGE

Some people believe it but some people don't. Some even had seen it.Does alien really exist? Its an unexplained. However, some documentaries said that they could be our ancestor. Do you agree or you have another theory?

Stephen Hawking believes so. He has a long-held belief that intelligent aliens are more than likely going to exist. He also believes if an intlelligent extraterrestrial life form visited are planet Earth in the present-day humanity would have very unfortunate consequences for us.

He says "To anybody who has logic it is perfectly rational for us to think about other life forms on other planet. If aliens ever did visit out planet, I think the outcome would be similiar to when Christopher Columbus first stepped on to American land, Which fot the Native Americans turned out pretty bad."

In the last three years Stephen Hawking has been working on a documantary that is reportedyl exercising firm editorial control. The show will feature speculative scenes of possible alien life in different habitats, including the oeans of europa on the moon of jupiter.

Hawking considers that any alien life would be generally the same as the life which has existed on earth, such as microbes or simple animal forms.

With over a hundred billion galaxies with potentially another hundred billion stars in them, Hawking beleives intelligent life is definately possible. He even considers the possibility of this intelligent life been so technoligically advanced it can easily travel across interstellar distances. He thinks it is unwise for humanity to try and attract the attention of such voyagers, by using the controversial practice of beaming out Active SETI signals, for instance.

Hawking says "If we take a look at ourselves we could see how intelligent life might develop into something we would not want to meet "I imagine they might exist in huge ships, having used up the resources from their home planet. Such advanced aliens would perhaps become nomads which are looking to conquer and colinise whatever planets they can reach"

The idea of massive alien spaceships moving across the galaxy from star to star at a small fraction of the speed of light is a common movie about science-fiction. There could be a possibility for a ship and its technology to be primitive enough that aliens may need "resources" from our planet.

Alternatively these aliens may have originally evolved on an earthlike world, there goal may be just to seize and colonise ours, regardless of the situation on there home planet they may just want another. The fact that these aliens could possible cross interstellar distances would tend to suggest they have the technology to wipe out humanity or enslave us.

Given that those parts of humanity with resources to spare show no serious interest in developing space travel capabilities of our own, it would seem that Prof Hawking is right and we'd do well to keep our heads down least we draw the attention of some race a bit more interested in the universe around it.
